Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: January 2026

Welcome to the website of Baby Be Safe. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our website, communications, and training services. By using our website, submitting a form, registering for a class, or participating in training, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

Services Provided

Baby Be Safe provides CPR, First Aid, and safety training services, including American Heart Association certified courses and non-certifying Family & Friends classes. Training may be delivered on location at homes, schools, daycare centers, childcare organizations, or other approved facilities throughout New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

Completion of a course does not guarantee employment, licensure, or regulatory approval beyond the scope of the certification issued, if applicable.

Eligibility

Participants must be at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By registering for or participating in services, you represent that you meet these requirements.

Registration and Accuracy of Information

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information when registering for training or submitting inquiries. Baby Be Safe is not responsible for issues arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information provided by participants or booking entities.

Payments, Fees, and Cancellations

Payments

All pricing, deposits, and payment terms are disclosed prior to confirmation of services. Fees may vary based on course type, group size, location, and delivery format. Payment must be made according to the agreed terms.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellation and rescheduling policies are communicated at the time of booking and may vary depending on course type and group size. Deposits may be non-refundable once instructors, materials, or travel arrangements are committed. Late cancellations may result in forfeiture of fees.

Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut consumer protection laws.

On-Site Group Training (Homes, Schools, and Organizations)

For on-location training provided at homes, schools, daycare centers, childcare organizations, or other facilities:

• The booking party represents that it has authority to schedule training at the location
• Participants are responsible for providing a safe and suitable training environment
• Baby Be Safe does not assume responsibility for facility conditions, supervision policies, or staffing decisions

Certification and Course Completion

For American Heart Association courses:

• Certification cards are issued only upon successful completion of all required skills, assessments, and course components
• Certification validity periods are determined by the American Heart Association
• Baby Be Safe follows current American Heart Association guidelines but does not control certification issuance or renewal policies

For non-certifying courses:

• No certification card is issued
• Training is educational and intended to build preparedness, awareness, and confidence

Assumption of Risk

CPR and First Aid training involves physical activity, including hands-on practice. By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with training activities and agree to follow instructor guidance at all times.

This provision is intended to comply with enforceability standards under New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut law and does not waive rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Disclaimer of Medical Advice

Training provided by Baby Be Safe is educational in nature and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Participants are instructed to call 911 and follow the direction of emergency medical professionals in real emergencies.

No Guarantee of Emergency Outcomes

While our training follows recognized guidelines and best practices, Baby Be Safe does not guarantee outcomes in real-life emergency situations. The effectiveness of CPR or First Aid may depend on factors beyond the scope of training, including the nature of the emergency and response time of emergency services.
