Heartsaver® First Aid

Build Practical First Aid Skills You Can Use Immediately

The Heartsaver® First Aid course at Baby Be Safe teaches you how to recognize an emergency, activate the emergency response system by calling 911, and provide appropriate first aid care until emergency medical services arrive.

American Heart Association Certified

All instructors are certified by the American Heart Association, and the course follows the most current 2025 guidelines. You receive an AHA Heartsaver® First Aid eCard after successful completion.

Skills You Will Learn

This course teaches the essential first aid responses required in workplaces, schools, childcare settings, and community environments, including:
• How to assess an emergency safely
• How to care for breathing difficulties
• How to control bleeding and manage wounds
• How to respond to burns, fractures, sprains, and sudden illness
• How to administer an epinephrine (epi) pen
• How to provide care while waiting for EMS

All skills are practiced hands on for real competence and confidence.
